#Momlife by Papeterie Bleu Coloring Book Review

This is one of the funniest coloring books I've seen! All of the designs are all so true to moms. This would be a great gift for Mothers Day for any mom you know! This book has 30 different designs ranging from simple to complex and printed on one side only. The pages are not perforated, so if using a marker place a blotter paper behind your page. Some brands of makers bleed though while others don't. I tested crayons, markers, pencil crayons and gel pens and they all look great in the book. 5 stars! You can get the book from Amazon.com Oh, and by the way, it is a best seller in the category for good reason!

This book is so lovely (Pun intended) It has 30 designs printed on one side only (the pages are not perforated) that all have the theme of love! They range from easy to complex so it is great for any level of colorist. The different designs in the book are inspiring and heartwarming. I used crayons, pencil crayons, markers and gel pens. If using markers stick a blotter paper behind your page just in case since dark colors sometimes bleed through depending on the brand of marker. Try this out! You will love it as much as I do! You can get it at Amazon.com

Chroma Club Volume 1 Review

I received this book as a gift in exchange for my honest review.

Chroma Club is a relatively new subscription, this month (April 2016) Volume 2 came out. Chroma Club is based out of San Francisco, California and use independent US artists to create their pages. They use US printers and FSC certified and partly recycled paper. Each volume contains 8 pages plus the cover that you can color. The cost is $8 a month.

I read a few reviews complaining about the cost. I would like to put this in perspective for anyone looking to try Chroma Club.

To get a single coloring page on Etsy from a lot of different artists costs between $1.00 and $1.99. And then you also have to print it up so that will also cost you more. So for the price of 9 coloring pages on Etsy you are spending a whole lot more then what Chroma Club costs.

This book is very nice travel size and will fit in a purse easily. It makes it perfect for lunch breaks.

Over all I really like this and am looking forward to seeing what things they have in store for us in the future.

You can get Chroma Club here. http://chroma.club/  They have a $2 off promotional code right now!

Crown Art Supply Dual Tip Brush Marker REVIEW

Crown Art Supply contacted me and asked my to review their product. I received the product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I love using these markers! One side is small so you can get into tiny areas, and the other is a brush tip so it feels like you are painting. This set comes with 12 different colors. Black, Brown, Light Pink, Hot Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Dark Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue and Purple. I use these for adult coloring books and they are marvelous! I would only use them on pages that are printed on one side though because depending on the quality of paper sometimes it will bleed through a bit. Again that is depending on the paper of the coloring book. I hope they make more colors soon because these are so much fun to work with. I haven't tried a lot of other brands of brush markers so I can't say how they compare to top brands, but they are way better then some of the lower end brands that I have tried.  Check out my artwork on Instagram. @xstitchalanna

Crown Art Supply Pencil Crayons Review

I absolutely love these pencils. My only wish is they would make more colors. They are very soft and blendable and as nice as my Prismacolor set. It is a great price and I highly reccomend you try it. You won't be disappointed. I will be buying more soon! The colors are rich and beautiful and blend very nicely.

Dia De Los Muertos Adult Coloring Book Review

Dia De Los Muertos is an awesome book for any sugar skull coloring lover! It has 30 pictures in it to color all printed on one side only. A plus for marker lovers! I would still put a blotter paper behind what you are coloring to be safe. These pages are not perforated. I used crayon, gel pens, markers and pencil crayons on this book and the paper held up great for each. The designs vary from a little more detailed to big and bold making it a quick color for markers or crayons.

I received this book from the publisher as a gift in exchange for my honest review.
